Savener will develop the design of the new Manufacturing Infrastructure for the A350F Main Deck Cargo Door Programme at the Airbus Illescas Factory.
The A350F, a variant of the Airbus A350, will be the first wide-body cargo aircraft built with a majority of composite materials. This large aircraft will shape the future of air cargo.
The aircraft’s new cargo door will be the largest on the market and will be designed to carry all types of aero-engines as well as the longest items in one go.
The project, entrusted to Savener, is in the pre-production phase, solving the challenges of the new infrastructures required for manufacturing. Specifically, it consists of the design of the special foundations and service connections such as electricity, compressed air and suction necessary for the operation of the equipment that will subsequently be installed in the new workstations.
The infrastructures required for the new A350F Main Deck Cargo Door production line, which is planned to start operating within a few months in this Factory, must be ready in record time, for which Savener will once again provide all its expertise in this type of projects to meet the agreed milestones and offer unique solutions to one of our main strategic partners.
