Savener has developed the Execution Engineering, providing direct support to the EPC that will develop the whole project, for the implementation of 3 new 50 MWp Photovoltaic Plants with latest generation technology in the province of Viterbo, Italy.
The project, which will be carried out in different areas of the Lazio Region, will occupy a total surface area of approximately 50 ha and will use bifacial panels with fixed distribution and an efficiency of over 23%, and will also develop all the engineering for low voltage (DC and AC), medium voltage, grounding network and auxiliary services.
The energy will be produced in the different fields and will be evacuated to a newly built substation by means of a 30 kV network. High-capacity inverters with efficiencies of up to 99% will be used for its generation. The final installation will avoid the emission of large quantities of greenhouse gases, in line with the energy policy developed by the European Union, achieving savings of over 15,000 Tn/year of CO2 emissions.
In addition to the engineering of the energy installation, all the civil engineering associated with earthworks, roads, ditches and water evacuation analysis has been developed, as well as the environmental and noise emission studies required by the provincial administrations.
For all this, Savener has developed the Engineering in parallel in its Delegation in Italy and from the Head Office located in Spain. As always, a work of enormous complexity, developed in a coordinated manner by all its technical staff dedicated to the achievement of the objectives established for the development of the Execution Project in accordance with the required standards and regulations, both at local and state level.
Likewise, we have carried out the procedures with the Italian administrative bodies managed by our offices in Italy, with a high level of knowledge of the different entities and needs required by each one of them.
This complex project once again put to the test the capabilities of our team to face international challenges of great importance. The most demanding means of calculation have been made available to the project by the multidisciplinary and multinational team of technicians. Consequently, a new challenge that Savener faces by offering its proven expertise to achieve installations that improve our carbon footprint.
