At the start of 2017, and following a tender process lasting 3 months, Savener was awarded the contract to prepare and supervise the works project for the new Parking facility for Tanker Trucks at the Airbus factory at San Pablo Sur de Seville.
The nature of this project made it necessary for a team of diverse specialists to take part, including our experts on airport road surfaces, infrastructures for airports and oil industry facilities.
The project is located close to the factory Fuel Center and assumes that the Parking bay will be adapted to these conditions as well as providing space for the company’s tanker trucks to manoeuvre safely when supplying fuel for the airplanes.
A study of the turning circles of vehicles was carried out as part of the specific studies for efficiency and quality in the preparation of this project, to ensure that the trucks can enter and exit safely when providing the service and to create a facility design that offers the highest levels of efficiency, operations and flexibility.
