In a strategic step towards strengthening its leadership in air conditioning technologies, Savener’s Technical Director recently visited Midea’s facilities in Guangzhou, China. Midea, recognised as the world’s largest manufacturer of air conditioning units by volume, opened the doors of its headquarters and R&D centre to showcase the latest innovations in the sector.
The visit, which began at Midea’s headquarters in the province of Canton, allowed the Savener team, along with other industry professionals from Western Andalusia, Extremadura and Levante, to discover first-hand the technological advances and process automation that define Midea. The day included a tour of several factories in the area, highlighting a fully automated plant capable of producing up to one million indoor units per month, and a semi-automated plant for outdoor air conditioning units.
One of the highlights of the visit was the clean room dedicated to the manufacture of inverters for photovoltaic installations, where the high level of precision and quality that Midea applies in its production processes could be appreciated.
This visit not only strengthens the relationship between Savener and one of the giants of the industry, but is also crucial for the informed selection of equipment in Savenerr’s projects, ensuring that state-of-the-art solutions that meet the highest standards of efficiency and sustainability are integrated. Such exchanges underline Savener’s commitment to excellence and innovation in each of its projects, remaining at the forefront of emerging technologies in the global market.
