The project that SAVENER has developed alongside teams from other countries has been assessed by UNESCO as an intelligent and sustainable example of how we can regenerate a landscape while laying the foundations of a new green economy. The following article was included in the quarterly edition that UNESCO published on different actions of special interest and importance for the conservation and improvement of our World Heritage.
The article was written by Luigi Centola, who was the coordinator of the BioVallo project and is a partner of SAVENER in a number of international schemes, all of which are related to the topic of sustainable town planning models.
